# Kios

> Cajal Bodies is building Kios, the operations console behind the merchandise department it is setting up for GaiaOne, with Freedive Sulawesi and Seascapes Bira planned as the second and third brands.

## Overview

Operator merchandise usually fails the same way. Sixty shirts arrive, forty are the wrong size, and they sit in a store room for three years. Kios is built so that a print run is triggered by an order rather than by a forecast.

Production is dual-sourced. An Indonesian printer serves Indonesian destinations and a Malaysian printer serves everywhere else, so finished goods never cross a border. The only stock held is a small capped buffer of proven sellers at the counter in Bira, for the guest who flies home in three days and will not wait for a print run.

The console holds the catalogue, the orders from every channel, the production jobs, the stock movements and the per-brand figures, and works on a phone where the signal does not. The first build is merged and tested. It is not deployed, there is no public storefront yet, and the console sits behind a login, so there is nothing to show here.

One brand is in it: GaiaOne, whose licence is agreed in shape and not yet signed. Freedive Sulawesi and Seascapes Bira are planned as the second and third, and neither has started.
