A healthcare consultancy, Malaysia

Cajal Bodies delivered casemix billing architecture, an executive brochure and product strategy for a healthcare consultancy in Malaysia, named on request.

The client works on diagnosis-related group billing, the method that decides what a hospital is paid for treating a case rather than for each item on the bill. The engagement covered three things: the architecture of the system, the document that explains it to hospital executives, and what the whole thing could be sold as.

The architecture deliverable is a client-facing solution and functional specification, written from an audit of the existing codebase, with every component marked as built, integrating or roadmap so that nobody could mistake a plan for a shipped system.

The product strategy reached a conditional conclusion rather than a recommendation to build, because the intellectual property position on the underlying grouper was not clear. Saying so plainly was the deliverable.

The client is not named here. Ask, and it is.
