# Consulting, and building what you need

> Cajal Bodies offers two services from Tanjung Bira, South Sulawesi: consulting — audits, strategy and architecture — and building — the websites, booking systems and internal tools dive and adventure operators run on. Both are done by one person, end to end.

## Consulting

Cajal Bodies audits how a dive, adventure or hospitality business actually runs, and says what to change.

Audits, strategy, architecture and feasibility work. The output is a document you can act on or hand to someone else, not a slide deck.

The work is done from inside an operation of the same kind, in Tanjung Bira, which is why the findings tend to be about the way the business runs on a Tuesday rather than about the way it looks on a website.

What you get:

- A written finding, not a presentation
- The method, so you can re-run it yourself
- A prioritised list of what to change, in order

How it runs:

1. A conversation about what you are actually trying to do

2. Access to the numbers, the systems, or both

3. A draft you argue with

4. The final document

Who it is for: Owner-operators, and institutions that need the reasoning written down.

## Building

Cajal Bodies builds the websites, booking systems and internal tools that dive and adventure operators run on.

End to end, from one person: the site, the booking flow, the payments, the internal tool your staff actually use, and the brand and print around it.

The same work has been done for an operation of our own in Bira, so the questions asked at the start are the ones that matter later: what happens when the signal drops, who counts the stock, and who has to be paid before the guest arrives.

What you get:

- Something running, not a prototype
- The source, in a repository you own
- A handover you can maintain or hand to someone else

How it runs:

1. Agree what it has to do

2. Build it in the open, in slices you can see

3. Test it against the way the business really runs

4. Hand it over with the keys

Who it is for: Operators who need one thing built properly rather than a team retained.

## Questions

**Does Cajal Bodies work outside diving?**

Yes. Most of the work is with dive and adventure operators in Indonesia, but the practice has also delivered billing architecture and product strategy for a healthcare consultancy in Malaysia, and brand and web work for a coaching practice and a company site.

**What does an audit produce?**

A written document: what was found, how it was found, and what to change first. It is written so that someone who was not in the room can act on it.

**Who builds direct booking systems for dive operators in Indonesia?**

Cajal Bodies, from Tanjung Bira in South Sulawesi, builds booking flows, payment integration and the internal tools around them for dive and adventure operators.

**Do you take payments in Indonesia?**

Yes. Xendit for Indonesian rupiah and the local payment methods people actually use, and Stripe where a card is the right answer.
